We are 98% non-reliant on supplies from China. Feel free to confirm with us where the handles are made.
Are your handles available ex stock?
Yes, we have large stock holdings of handles and can cater for the immediate demands of large architectural projects, many thousands of cabinetmakers and the home renovator consumer. Due to our huge range, occasionally we do have to back order. In this instance, we will notify you when we expect stock. If you do require handles for a large industrial project, it is recommended that you make us aware.
Which countries do you source you handles from?
Germany, Italy, USA, Spain, U.K, Taiwan, and Poland.
Are your handles good quality?
Of course, YES!! All our handles pass a stringent selection process. This is imperative to us as we offer a lifetime warranty on all our handles and because handles are to be 'the finishing touch' to you cabinetry. Less than perfect handles just don't cut it.
What do the sizes on your handle codes represent?
They represent the centre to centre hole sizes (See specification charts for overall sizes).
LEATHER HANDLES
Are leather handles suitable to be used in kitchens and bathrooms?
Yes, they can withstand normal use in kitchens and bathrooms. Please avoid exposure to constant moisture or harsh cleaners
Are leather handles suitable for commercial use?
Our handles are frequently applied for furnishing in hotels and stores. The smooth edges reduce the risk of injury.
Do I have to take care of my leather handles with special cleaners?
No. a damp cloth is sufficient to clean our handle. Regular care is not required.
Can I personalise my leather handles?
Yes, logos can be added upon request. Minimum quantities and lead times apply.
What type of leather is used?
High quality European cowhide that is characterised for its own durability and longevity.
Do you provide samples?
Yes, you will need to purchase them. However they can be returned should you choose not to go ahead with them.
OUTDOOR HANDLES
Will sea air effect a handles finish?
External fitment of handles can cause a finish to deteriorate prematurely.
We recommend stainless steel however please note our handles are NOT 316 Marine grade stainless steel therefore we can not provide a lifetime warranty should you choose to use these handles outside.
What do you recommend for an outdoor Kitchen?
We don't recommend our handles for outdoor use. Your warranty will be voided if handles are in an outdoor setting.
Can you use a natural orange extract cleaner on handles?
No. it is acidic. Use warm soapy water only.
Can I use the same products such a Windex and Ajax spray that I use on my cupboard fronts?
There are varying version of these products and you will need to check the MSDS to determine the acidic content. A diluted PH neutral detergent could be suitable. Always test a small area of the underside handle first. Our recommendation is to use warm soapy water only.
What is a living finish?
Cast iron is a living finish and base material is iron. Iron is treated and given a pewter effect finish and then further treated to achieve anti corrosion properties.
Will the finish rust?
The daily handling and wiping of these handles will maintain the finish. If left unused the finish can rust.
What do I use to clean the cast iron range of handles?
Warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
CONCRETE KNOBS:
Will each concrete knob be the same?
Part of the charm of concrete handles is that every item is unique and as such, each will be slightly different from each other. The shades and texture of concrete can vary. The knobs contain air bubbles in varying amounts which only adds to their unique character.
Will the knobs stain or absorb moisture?
The concrete knobs are protected by a waterproofing sealant which is applied in four stages. This does not affect the natural appearance and texture of the concrete.
